"Photography cam natural to me, even at the age of 15, when I used it as a form of relaxation.  During my four years at N.Y. State University I had a minor in Photography and studied fine art to balance my major in Electronics.  Later I was assistant to the president of Berry and Homer Photo graphics in Philadelphia which still prints major exhibitions for the Smithsonian.  Shortly after, my fine art photography was successfully sold in galleries and lead to a 20 year career as an advertising photographer.  My studio, one block from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Museum, regularly helped academy students working their way through art college.

I was regularly contracted through advertising agencies to shoot some of the nations top corporate ad campaigns.  During this time I continued to practice my fine art photography in Europe and the United States but refused to sell or show this work.  Today, my body of photographs shows a slight influence of those days, mainly technical.  My break with commercial ties has allowed me to finally enter the inspired poetic vision of my compositions without the encumbrances of demanding deadlines.  The breath of my work exhibited here shows nature observed in its calmest states,  much as I did when I was 15 years old.  Currently numerous National and International competitions are being entered to re-establish myself as the fine artist my life style has always dictated.  As a last note, most all photography that I do is momentary and without preparation, relying on the inspiration to flow as gently as water.  Through my work, I hope you share my visions."
