 Menefee is a native of Hot Springs and currently teaches art at Lake Hamilton Middle School.  Menefee’s work can be seen in private and public collections throughout Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.  Most recently she was included in the 40 Female Artists over 40 Arkansas Arts show and the Delta Southern Artist Show 2004 in Little Rock.

Menefee’s work presents a colorful array of abstracted images pulled from her own life.  She often delights in incorporating everyday found objects into each piece such as masking tape or bubble wrap.  When asked what inspires her work, Menefee just laughs and says, “My art is the by-product of an over stimulated mind.”
